Job Description:
Job Title: Software Tester Intern
Skills:
- Automation and manual testing methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business owners to develop and implement comprehensive test plans
- Estimate the time and resources required for the testing process
- Craft effective testing strategies aligned with project goals
- Utilize the QA project management tool to monitor progress and maintain accurate records
- Stay abreast of new project requirements and incorporate them into testing plans
- Manage detected defects, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project success
- Participate in weekly status meetings with the project leadership team to provide updates and address concerns
- Vigilantly monitor issue resolution timelines and ensure timely delivery of solutions
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in Agile Testing methodologies
- Experience conducting API Testing
- Expertise in Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, and Jest
- Familiarity with various Web and Mobile technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Testing Tools & Techniques
- Proficient use of Defect Tracking & Test Case Management Tools
- Understanding of Database concepts and SQL queries
- Cross-Browser Testing Skills to ensure consistent user experience across platforms
- Project Management skills to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- General Operating Systems Knowledge for handling various technical environments
- Basic Programming Knowledge to comprehend and troubleshoot software issues
